Welcome to CSF!

Established in 1921, the California Scholarship Federation seeks to recognize service to community, citizenship, and academic scholarship in high school students. Based in San Ramon, California, we are the Dougherty Valley chapter of CSF.


Dougherty Valley CSF has expanded supersonically over the years. Represented by 1/3 of the student body with approximately 1000 members this year, we proudly offer our volunteer opportunities to local schools, organizations, and community events. We also run hugely popular tutoring and access recycling services. Members strive to provide exceptional service while maintaining stellar academic records and fully appreciating their volunteering experiences. Thus, we operate under CSF's motto of "Scholars for Service."


This website will become the main resource for club members to locate forms, receive updates, and sign up for community service activities. Thank you to our members and community for continually supporting CSF!

Membership By Class

Applications for Fall 2024 membership of the California Scholarship Federation will open soon.

FRESHMEN PLEASE READ:

• If you are a freshman, you will only be granted membership if you completed 3 semesters of CJSF in middle school.

• If you did not complete 3 semesters of CJSF, all freshmen are welcome to apply next semester.

SENIORS PLEASE READ:

• If you do not apply for CSF senior year, but were an active member for 4 semesters (excluding freshman year), you will qualify for LIFE MEMBERSHIP only. This means you will receive a seal on your high school diploma, a Life Membership certificate, a gold tassel, and a gold cord.

• If you are an active CSF member for 6 semesters (excluding freshman year), you will qualify for 100% MEMBERSHIP. This means you will receive a seal on your high school diploma, a Highest Honor Member certificate, a gold tassel, a gold cord, and a gold stole.

Fall 2023 applications will be released later this year. BEFORE APPLYING, please read all of the eligibility requirements and instructions on the application page. No late applications will be accepted.
